Universal connectivity: ADSL/WiFi/3G/MODEM

MCP Player can run through ADSL, WiFi, 3G or modem.

MCP does not require a permanent IP connection to work and it is not necessary that the Players are "always" connected to the server. However, it is advisable to have a permanent connection to the server as a recommendation, for example, to allow the P2P distribution system to send content to other Player or even to provide a monitoring  status report of the Player.

In any case, MCP Player works with WiFi, DSL or cable connections but also with POTS, 3G or HSPA that, through a dial-up, demands to connect to the servers.

MCP Player also supports dial-up systems based on time schedules, or event-based callbacks calls and SMS.
