Local Agent multiplatform application

MCP Local Agent is an application designed to Upload and Publish Media Content to the MCP server. MCP Local Agent is a Multiplatform application platform (runs on Windows, Linux and Mac)

This application can be downloaded free and to be installed on the computer of any user of MCP that contribute uploading Media content to a workspace (or workspaces).

Local Agent MCP eliminates all the inconveniences of uploading heavy files such as HD video, from a web browser, and includes features like:

  • Generating thumbnails. MCP Local Agent application is in charge of "taking a picture" of each graphic content uploaded to the server. Thus, by providing a "snapshot" of the graphic material, provides its easy location on the Web content management system or CMS
  • Queue outstanding jobs. MCP Local Agent is able to manage a queue of processes to be completed. This allows the application to remind "pending to resume" undone work in case of connection loss or even if the user closes the application, to be continued later. 
  • Transcoding of video formats. MCP Local Agent has a Video Transcoding Engine. This functionality is described here.
